Okay, this is THE MOST WILDLY IMPROBABLE thing in a movie--EVER. George Kennedy flies an SST (no, that's not it!) when a drone begins to chase him and he does loop-the-loops with a full plane and evades the thing and manages to land safely (that's still not it!). Then--when it's time to fly back from Paris to the US (or wherever it was)--EVERYBODY GETS BACK ON BOARD FOR THE RETURN TRIP.

The only reason this gets a positive rating is that it's so damned bad it becomes entertaining. Nothing even vaguely resembling action or suspense here, the "thrills" are usually interrupted by Jimmie Walker's weed-smoking antics or Martha Raye's numerous battles with the Concorde crapper. Features my all-time favorite film quote from George Kennedy :"They don't call it a cockpit for nothin' " ???!!!...Classic.

Woeful disaster movie (even by the genre's admittedly low standards) lacks even the cheesy laughs that mark the 'best' of them; also spends an excruciating amount of time removed from the disaster scenario to focus on the dreary private lives of its characters on the ground. On a positive note, no-one inhabits the disaster movie trappings as comfortably as Kennedy, and he has a few moments which produce a few sniggers (laying down by the fire with an ageing Andersson being one of them!)

I can't begin to imagine just how large the bag of money was that they gave to George Kennedy to say some of the stuff his character says. It must have been huge.

Oh my god the whole sequence where they're trying to fly away from the drone plane is hysterical.

This is the one where the series took a nose dive...it went down like a lead balloon...went into a tail spin...too much? Yeah, so is the fourth installment to a disaster movie series.

They're all pretty bad, but this one's the worst! With NO chemistry between Delon and Love interest Kristel, bad special effects and an awful awful AWFUL script. It's so bad it's almost entertaining! Almost!

It was OK at best but George Kennedy as always kept the movie interesting.
