Started off decent enough but got repetitive fast and the ending was not funny at all.

Forgettable and unimpressive, I'd say skip this one for some later Chaplin.

There's nothing particularly new or spectacular here, but it's all solid and cute enough, with some nice moments.

Solid gags but pretty deranged.

Average Chaplin short, with some good bits and a few others that don't work so well. This is my fifth one in a short span of time, so I was curious about the bruises Chaplin and long-time co-star Eric Campbell must have had after filming. The big dance sequence was odd, because some were dressed very formally, while others were dressed up as for a costume ball. And in this one, we learn that eating spaghetti has always been funny.

Charlie has some fun gags here, first at the tailor's shop as he tries to measure a woman, and then later at the manor house where causes great trouble for his former employer. At the center of it all is a wonderful dance sequence where Charlie shows off some deft moves, both with his feet and his hat.

Not exactly memorable, but fun for what it is.
