The creeping terror has a monster that looks like a giant hairy vagina, humping cars and stuffing people in his.. hole. It's extremely boring and confusing at times, but the highlight of this movie was the dancing scene. Damn those moves!

While the movie may have gained some cult status through it's reputation as a contender for "worst-movie-ever-made", even with the help of the MST3K riff, I was never really able to enjoy the charms of this particular "film". Yeah, the monster looks like {insert joke here} and the movie is uniquely incompetent all around, but outside of the industrial film narration, the few "so-bad-it's-good" charms of this real life cinematic con-job were often snuffed out by the movie's unyielding tedium.

A tedious, lazily written schlockfest, featuring an awesomely designed creature who, when not devouring countless innocent victims, spends his time having sex with soldiers and humping cars. What I learned from this movie: Poking women and showing them your awful dance moves will get you laid. Thanks, shitty movie!

Has the most exposition of any movie I've seen (well, heard, I guess). The incompetence of the dance scene is only exceeded by the incompetence of the lover's lane scene; in both cases I laughed so hard I had to stop the film. Spectacularly terrible.

Well this is going to be a weird rating. I saw it at a Halloween special in an arthouse with muted soundtrack and live production of dialogue, sound & music. There was a lovely unironic monotone deadpan news-announcer dubbing coupled with an utterly fantastic sound effects & music featuring synths and a frigging theremin! The film print was also pristine 16 mm which added to the terrible magic. A deeply surreal & wonderful experience. The film itself is retrograde 50s camp wrapped in a rag rug.

Really interesting because it's not as terrible as it's reputation, or it's technical level, would make it seem. There's these brief moments of brilliance, such as the lingering camera on the destroyed dance hall, or the chaotic cross-cutting in the finale. It's slow as hell, yeah, and certainly cheesy, but I've seen far far worse that doesn't have the charm this film does.

Absolutely hillarious bad movie. Between the rug monster that needs assistance from the people he's eating and the narrator that literally describes every single thing that happens throughout the entire movie, this is a disaster of ridicolous proportions.

An utterly bizarre home movie. Wins points for audacity of style (and the lack thereof), if nothing else.

Is it wrong to find women being eaten head first, heels kicking, sexy? A new fetish is born.

It's not even technically proficient. The sound editing is so inept that it seems they gave up completely and used narration instead, even when you're watching people talk. The monster is stupid-looking and unthreatening. It's just a poor excuse for a movie. It seems like it may have single-handedly inspired The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra, though, so if that's true then I'm glad it exists.

A real contender for worst film ever. I wish I could give negative scores.
