Part of the Inspector Steve Trent 4-film series starring Ralph Bellamy and produced by Columbia Pictures. There was enough angles in this murder mystery, but it's executed total autopilot. The good ideas were basically poorly written and woodenly performed, to the point it was comical to watch. Some may love that it happens in a movie studio, but it's a very average B-mystery made by a B-studio.
