Mysteries sure was in fashion in the early 30's. They come in all kinds of cheap variations, including comedy mysteries like this where Zasu Pitts and James Gleason being the humor with some other weird personalities to back it up. Sadly this really wasn't a very good attempt. It had enough characters to have potential, but the direction was lacking.
