The Crow: Salvation

If you have this soundtrack please choke yourself with your giant wallet chain.

The good is, it was put together with enough skill that you can watch it without hating it. The main character here is miscast and he just can't pull off vengeance the way I would have expected, although that is mostly the fault of the writers and director. Kirsten Dunst's character is pointless, and there isn't enough guiltless, horrifyingly gory killing to keep with the spirit of the comic book.

Boy, Dunst gets kidnapped a few too many times in her filmography.

Shitty comic written by a junkie turns into shitty movie franchise. The first was moderately interesting and visually appealing, this is neither.

I haven't seen any other crow films, not sure wht Kirsten Dunst was doing in this.

Another seriously under-rated flick. Good visuals/effects with good filming, they have some interesting angles following flight path of a crow. The two main principals do a good job with their roles

It's better than Crow: City of Angels, but it's still pretty bad.

Has it's flaws but this is a million times better than City of Angels. Not as good as the original obviously, see my comment about flaws, but not a cheap carbon copy either

Marginally better than The Crow: City of Angels because it has a more coherent plot and direction, but it's still unbelievably silly. The only Crow film worth watching is the original.

The story line is basically a reproduction of the first. So no points there. There first was good, but it was already made. Problem is this film didn't do any better than the first so it doesn't have that much reason to exist. That said I did enjoy it.
