Robert Taylor is boxer Killer McCoy. A guy managed by drunken father Frank Morgan who sells his sons contract to crooks. One good thing comes out of it. Taylor meets the protected daughter of his crooked boss - Maureen O'Sullivan! The story is one told many times before with the underworld wanting him to throw fights and so on. Taylor does a fine job as a boxer. The story turns a little too romantic, but that's how most Taylor movies are. At least he gets to be macho in between the kisses.
