The film stars actor Rod La Rocque as 'Jerry Cleggert', a good-natured descendant of an infamous clan of pirates who resides aboard the rickety ship Jasper B. Cleggert is informed that in order to inherit a large inheritance, he must marry by his twenty-fifth birthday - otherwise he would relinquish all claims to his impending fortune. A wacky comedy for sure! Rod La Rocque runs around half the movie almost naked flashing his well toned body to ladies delight! He's about to loose his entire fortune since according to family traditions he's not getting married on a set date. He hooks up with Mildred Harris and they got to escape and get on La Rocque's boat in time to get married. The movie has it's crazy moments and plenty of laughs but I did feel it was a little too ridiculous at times bringing in the entire army to bomb them.
