The Dancing Years (1950) is a overly romantic British musical affair set in Vienna. Clearly aimed more at the female audience with its light tones and sweet courtships. While not exactly my thing, I'll say that it's elegant and the acting wasn't hammy, which it easily could have been with this material, so credit to them for that. Was the last film based on a Ivor Novello play made before he passed away in 1951.
