A mishmash of different, better movies that sounds good on paper but quickly falls apart once the stupid reveals start happening. So it's all about emotion-draining smoke-parasites that can be defeated by the power of love? Yeah, fuck you too, movie.

Whelp, it wasn't that scary, unless you count the fact that Jaime Murray acted in it.

Take equal parts "Near Dark", "Dark City" and "Groundhog Day" and blend. Strain the good chunky bits out and you're left with a tepid, watery mess called "The Deaths of Ian Stone".

The plot is paper thin and some exposition happens quite fast in an overdone way. They managed to make hockey feel uncool. Some surprise or unusual choices, though a lot rested on torturing a guy physically and psychologically. The Fabio blond wig at the end though, that was accidentally hilarious.

it's got nothing spectacular in it, but it is quite entertaining and does keep a certain element of suspense. i cant say i got sick of the special effects.

One of the better Horrorfest films. If it were a bigger production, I could definitely see it being made into a series of films based on the central mythology, which is intriguing though not fleshed out as much as it could have been.

Degenerates into something far less than it could have attempted. Ended up being fairly stupid and pretty much a pointless ride.

Good. A man dies and wakes up in a different life doomed to repeat the tragic cycle unless he can figure out the mystery behind it all. It reminded me a bit of Dark City but its a pretty interesting and fresh premise executed with finesse and style. Its more fantasy than horror and packs a lot in its short runtime. Definitely worth a rental.

Could have been good, but was poorly executed. The 'catch' is oveplayed. An unfortunate meh. SPOILER: Ian Stone dies. Multiple times. You, unfortunately, do not.

The monsters remind me of that stinker of a film Wes Craven's They, that's reason enough to turn off. A sloppy mess of a film that lacks all focus and purpose

Terrible in every single way, I wasnt even able to have fun at it being bad like with the saw movies or stupid comedies. It was acctually so bad I felt sick and ashamed afterwards for real.
