Martin Scorsese's best since Goodfellas (although it certainly isn't on par). Incredible all the way through, every actor was superb, the script was colourful, the action was intense.

Everything this movie has to offer is intense. Fast paced, fun, shocking and all around cool. Much better than the original, Infernal Affairs. Script is very tight and has some sweet lines. Acting is top notch and I can't believe they didn't cast Nicholson as a menacing mob boss sooner.

I absolutely love just about everything this movie has to offer. Leonardo DiCaprio catches some flack for being basically a rich pretty boy, but he's a hell of an actor, and this is his best yet. The casting of Nicholson as a crime boss is inspired, and, as would be expected from Martin Scorsese, this movie is technically marvelous. The entire theme of identity only helps to advance a fantastic crime thriller, filled with humor, tension and great moments of sudden violence.

A great surprise, it almost felt like some of Scorsese's greatest work from his early carreer. The screenplay and direction are both outstanding, which leads to a powerful, amazing movie. And the last 30 minutes are a tour-de-force.

It can't recreate the magic of Infernal Affairs, though it has its charms. Some things took me out of the movie though. Wahlberg's accent sounded more like a chant from a Lovecraft story, and Nicholson's acting is completely ridiculous. Once people started dying in the final act I didn't really care that much. Maybe because I knew what would happen, maybe because the original is a tighter film that used the paranoia angle better.
