The Devil All the Time

it's like the grimmest episode of Hee Haw imaginable.

Evil things happen between characters who vaguely know each other. That really is it. I struggled to see the point in this film.

The cast saves this movie from being a slaughter of blood with no meaning. Thanks Robert Pattinson, we do not deserve you.

I'm a sucker for a post-war period piece and I wasn't too disappointed with this film. The acting was brilliant and despite being confused until the way the characters are connected unraveled, I found myself heavily invested in them. While I don't hate bleak/tonally grey films, this one went really hard on that aspect, however that's my biggest criticism.

It was constantly dark but it was always riveting for me. Great acting and cinematography.

Feels like these novel-like books where they can afford telling slow stories with bleak results or twists about the absurdity of this and that and how unforgivable life can be for the wretched. It's alright I guess, one wonders where it goes. Spider-Man shoots faster than anybody else.

Tom Holland and Robert Pattinson were great in this - wish there were more scenes between the two.
