Highly sentimental, obviously religious, with excellent performances from its leads, an exotic setting and great special effects for its time

sinatra and tracy are great here and this is just a awesome adventure flick. it's a shame that more people haven't seen it.

A fallen priest and trio of convicts must help leper children escape an island before an erupting volcano engulfs them. Well-acted adventure film is the only collaboration between Oscar-winners Tracy and Sinatra. Good special effects, as well.
