The Dissidents

Intriguing premise, but execution left a lot to be desired. Limited budget probably caused compromises with e.g. props & locations which then diminished the credibility. It was interesting to see Finland and Sweden through eyes of 80's Estonia when it was still behind the Iron curtain. Script could have used some more work as characters lacked depth and humor was very silly. Film also hinted at deeper themes with links to current refugees, but mainly avoided touching those questions.
