The writers/directors and cast do a great job developing fully rounded characters in an incredibly short time, meaning the audience can get right into this tight little film before the quick conclusion. But if you're gonna limit your runtime like this you need an ending with impact - and unfortunately we get the unoriginal, cheesy outcome we're predicting.

The Duplass brothers are responsible for making some of the few tolerable comedies I've seen in recent years. The Do-Deca-Pentathlon is slighter than Cyrus, but it's still good. It certainly put a smile on my face.

Best Duplass bros. film yet. As usual, they use a funky premise to dredge up and refresh a deep family wound, but this time the conclusion is less indie-saccharine and feels authentic.

Sure it's a thin premise, but The Duplass brothers bring enough heart to keep it going for it's tight run time.

Like in Jeff, Who Lives at Home, we find a pair of Duplass-y brothers here, one married, one not. Mark Kelly's "evil leprechaun" adds the fire against the everyman angst of Steve Zissis's character, but the plot doesn't really go anywhere; more like a Buster Keaton film than a melodrama.
