The Double

Not terrible but not that good either. The story didn't fit but Gere was pretty good.

I like the actors, but this was dull

Gere's performance is alright, Topher Grace is just so not the guy for this...

For a low budget thriller with a plot that is about 25 years out of date, this film is actually not that bad. It's not particularly good, either, mind you, but the plot is very well paced and Richard Gere turns in a solid performance.

what a mixed bag... too predictable. However great action score by John Debney

Watchable, but too long and a bit boring after a while. A few genuine surprises but the kind of bottle the first twist about Cassius' identity and try to humanise him later. Meh

Too many plot holes and not enough quality. Nice to see Topher Grace again, but he's nothing without his Laura.

The twists are bad, and they should feel bad too.

not even a bit interesting or tense or anything....watchable

I just couldn't get past the pronunciation of Cassius as 'Cash-us'. Was his watch a cashio? There's also the line, "welcome to our humble commode". Apparently it's intentional, a joke. Intended or not it's still a rubbish line, but it does sum up my viewing experience nicely.

A rather fun idea for a plot is not played out in any way that is remotely interesting or suspenseful. Really, the only suspense is provided by the not-particularly-inspired score.

watchable

It was uninteresting and boring. Both the plot and the characters were very bare, so it was impossible to care about what was happening. Also, the big twist at the end seemed so random that it actually made me laugh.
