A real overlooked gem that features great performances all around. The real highlight in the film is the tug-of-war relationship between Clarkson and Sarsgard. It will leave you questioning the very nature of love and marraige.

Starts of promisingly, but loses direction about 3/4 of the way through the film and finishes up with a fairly unsatisfying and rushed feeling ending. However, Clarkson and Sarsgaard are (As usual) so good with their parts, you can practically see them chewing up these parts and spitting them back out. Great acting, but the script leaves a lot to be desired.

Starts well, but loses its way quickly. Although I have to admit that the plot makes interesting use of email as a devise. Clarkson and Scott--as usual--are very good.

"For a story that takes place in chilly, Philadelphia-era Hollywood, it's at least plugged in to the politics of the time." - Ed Gonzalez
