Such a odd and haunting story of beauty. Could be interpreted in several ways, and it's one of the more impressive Robert Young performances, not ignoring Herbert Marshall & Dorothy McGuire's contributions. Perhaps a little too toned down to create its special atmosphere, but there is a admiration for what they did here.
