As my first Benson/Moorhead movie, I'm quite impressed. Any budgetary issues are masked with clever storytelling and an engaging plot. This is hands down the best Lovecraft adaptation that isn't a Lovecraft adaptation.

A resolutely resolved attempt to bring resolution to the events of Resolution while still resolving to stand on its own. Watching Benson/Moorhead movies without doing any research prior is the next best thing to joining UFO death cults with infinite time loops and endless taps of lukewarm hefeweizen.

Pretty damn decent limited-budget limited-scifi-horror. Nothing too mindblowing but I really enjoyed the slow pace and moments of weirdness/mystery. During the viewing I was thinking back to the makers' previous title Resolution and minutes later I had the biggest grin on my face as something wonderful happened.

Movies about cults never focus on the pamphlets. That's how they really get you. If Chuck Palahniuk had channeled H.P. Lovecraft while writing his "Survivor" we'd all be watching the same movie.

I was interested enough in the twists and turns of this weird Camp to really want to see where it would go, and I think Benson and Moorhead did a good job with pacing, giving us just enough at the right time each time. Pretty good acting, some hokey dialogue, good special effects for the budget. Judging from this they are talented people. I wish I had seen Resolution (or heard of it) before this though.

Fairly well made for an obviously low budget affair, it still suffers from less than good acting and some odd writing decisions. Still it tries harder than 90 percent of most sci fi, so that's something.

In RESOLUTION, the characters seemed subject to the tyranny of audiences' narrative desires. Here we see the same thing, but as a species of our own tendency to fall prey to a narrative repetition compulsion with solipsistic consequences. Whether we should see this as simply our existential condition, or one always inflected by the technological (media) milieu in which we are immersed, is perhaps left open. Return to form by these really quite interesting filmmakers. Slightly too long, perhaps.

Has some dead spots but an interesting concept well executed for the budget. Far too many 'indie movie' script moments though, people don't talk like that.

Need to sympathise with the low budget and overlook some bad casting/dialogue to appreciate the ideas and symbolism. Engaging at times (like when posing an existential choice between comforting temporal loops and linear agency in the real world), but ends up being really on the nose, then abandons it for some clichés about fraternal bonds. Was taken by the little metaphysical world's laws and imagery/'the unknown' at times, but bad pacing and an overall sense of passivity kept sobering me.

I'm not entirely sure Resolution needed this, but it seems Benson & Moorhead did. But whatever. There's tons of meta to be found here if you want, but ultimately most of it feeds, rather than distracts from, a brilliant little surreal Lovecraftian tale of hipster cultists with demands and storytellers just trying to survive. B&M have yet to disappoint me, now blow me away.

Oddball sci-fi suspense film, with an interesting conceit and strong, sometimes innovative photography. Plays out much like an extended Twilight Zone episode, perplexing and disturbing, for the most part compelling, but runs out of meaningful dramatic content in the final act and gets a bit too silly for its own good.

Lesson learned: Don't you ever listen to your dickhead brother. (I love the older brother, he was funny with that card trick. It's nice to see sane people and how they react to supernatural events. Sick of seeing believers praying to god.)

I want to believe that there's more. I mean; it is so inspiring. Tell me the whole movie is full of metaphors, tell me this is a dream of a character, tell me this is about Lord Voldemort; I'm up to anything.

Although there is a part, towards the end, kind of nothing happens it gets pretty quickly on its route, hence the 65 and not a 70, I found it as an extension/expansion of «Resolution», a film that I did not like it when I saw it.

I had heard nothing about this or the other movies, but I dig it now. Benson and Moorhead have a very Lovecraft'ian mind which they got into later in their life but still, they just struck a tone that is just perfect. They have created a decent universe and delve into it quite nicely. Although I liked Resolution a tid bit better, this is still also a decent flick.

A somewhat clever story told badly. The acting, writing and direction of this was quite substandard. I really wanted to like it, but the production quality kept dragging it down. Incoherent at times. This might have turned out better with a more talented crew. All of it feels like and amateur production.

Expected way more. It's filled with red herrings but it's not really interested in its supernatural elements. Which is ok, the story and acting is good but it was not my taste since I expected/wanted something else.

The endless mess. A plenty of symbols and totems and movie still lacks any deeper symbolism, allegory or meaning. Main aspect that adds to amateurism is mostly one-sidedness of characters.

Wtf, how can people like this?! Seriously? I mean the acting was crap and the story was kind of lame. The plot was cool, but seriously, why would you have so many unnecessary scenes in the buildup. Really took away from the movie. Ending was also utter shit. This should have had a 'bad' ending. I vote the Endless 'Monster' to righteously maul all the lame characters in this movie.. Only cool guy was the one who asked for the gun

Three issues. First, movies where everyone is young and fit and pretty are not an immersive experience to me unless they're porn. Second, if you fumble to give a half-assed explanation to everything, leaving no loose ends, things stop being creepy and ominous. Third, spare me your tacky allegories and life lessons. I don't appreciate being schooled on human relations by preppy Ken and Barbie dolls in a shitty horror movie.

A clever take on the "cult was actually right" film. Loved the Lovecraftian elements, but for a story focused on the relationship between two brothers, the acting itself wasn't especially engaging.

It's quite odd horror, and it starts a bit rough, but overall it's worth a watch. I'd argue that it gets away with more than other horror movies because the rules are not defined, but not sure it matters.

This movie has consistently drifted in front of my attention for the last couple of years with consistent low key positive buzz, and added to the absolutely incredible and gorgeous poster I was looking forward to finally seeing it. Unfortunately in a movie where tone and mood is key, terrible acting constantly took me out of the experience, and poor writing was a constant barrier to my attempts to get back in. Best thing about it was it didn't live up to it's title and did actually have an end!

The low budget is impossible to miss but the scrappiness is mostly charming. There are plenty of fun mindfuck moments but it's difficult to tell how much is thought out and has significance and how much is just random for the sake of an interesting visual. The thing that lost me the most was how little the brothers reacted when the crazy shit started. There were moments that would have been stronger if the directors could "resist the joke" as it were.

An excellent followup to Resolution, and another movie that I wish more people were talking about. The ending was a little cheesy imo, but there's a lot more spectacle in this movie and a lot of cool new perspective provided for the previous movie. I'm hoping there'll be more.

The Endless is bigger and better than Resolution. Other director would have sacrificed subtlety and idea to make better use of a larger budget. Not these two. Endless is another fantastic Lovecraftian masterpiece. It may require more than one viewing to fully grasp, but in this film's case, that's the fun part.
