Travolta's first lines “I can’t talk too long I gotta poo”. Still got that Saturday Night Fever swagger. Fred Durst sitting in the director’s chair like an asshole starting every take with 'nookie'. Step above Travolta blowing a horse on film as a career low.

I had a lot of fun with Serenity, a modern day disasterpiece. This was less fun to sit through but no less a disaster. This is the first time I've seen a film that is itself on the spectrum.

I might as well have given this a 100! This is perfect nonsense. Travolta is horrible, Fred Durst is even worse, and just when you think the film can't sink any lower, Devon Sawa plays a Limp Bizkit song for his son in the car. I switched between throwing up, crying and laughing throughout this masterpiece of utter bullshit.

Is there an actor as famous as Travolta with quality control as bad as his? He doesn't seem to be in the same back-taxes hell as Nic Cage, it just seems like he has no taste or judgment for good roles at all. I mean, if you're going to take on a gimmicky kind of role like this you need someone better than Fred Durst to guide you. This is a pointless (others have done the stalker fan thing better while actually having something to say), boring, absurd movie with no flair or bite at all.

A strange, ugly and hostile movie mixes elements of TAXI DRIVER and KING OF COMEDY (anyone thinking JOKER was a poor derivation of Scorsese should get a load of Durst's effort) - too deliberate and calculated to be bad-good, this does feature a committed performance by Travolta, but its aim is scattershot, and Durst doesn't have the balls to truly grapple with the intriguing fan-star relationship themes he raises (I'll forgive the narcissistic Limp Bizkit shout-out!)

Going off the reputation of the filmmaker, I'm sure you'll be surprised that this score was so high.

Travolta's meatiest role in years, and he dives in with reckless abandon, even if he is frequently ridiculous. Shame that his efforts are wasted on Durst's completely obvious take on extreme fandom. The decision to make Travolta's character a spectrum type was a bad one because it makes his behaviour too easy to dismiss, which undermines any attempt at social commentary from the getgo. Regardless, it's well worn territory, and Durst adds nothing but stale cliches and cheap misanthropy.

This is, uh, something else. Travolta is both offensive and hilarious in his portrayal. The film wants it both ways -- it is so ridiculous that it is funny but we are also supposed to find humanity in this character. This doesn't happen, so there's this largely unfocused film switching tones every few minutes. However, we are better for it, because the straight version of this film is a middling thriller that would have been forgotten quickly.

Almost as entertaining for the audience as it should be embarrassing for Travolta. A master class in bad taste, it's the film you'd create in your head if someone told you "The singer from Limp Bizkit made a movie where John Travolta is mentally retarded."

zero star movie but it has value in the sheer audacity and obliviousness of Durst's narcissistic creation, just not quite enough that it's a "good" bad movie. I mean, Travolta even campaigned to get an oscar for this.... forever loling

If Moose is indeed meant to be autistic it actually does explain some of his actions (not all, but I do see some of the symptoms). That creates some sympathy from me. That it takes autism in an "offensive" direction doesn't especially bother me because it's just a movie and I don't need Fred Durst to explain autism to me. I know I'm talking a lot about autism here but that's it's the most interesting aspect. Movie just doesn't flow, has some illogical and weird choices, it's boring.

I enjoyed this one. What a bizarre but convincing role from Travolta.

Aggressively, jaw-clenchingly awful. Grossly offensive to those on the autism spectrum. Shitty digital film quality, shitty framing & composition, shitty lighting. Apparently you can traipse into a Hollywood A-lister's backyard like it were nothing. You can also murder somebody and get away with it like it were nothing. Contemptible characters, contemptible narrative that spends 95% of its time doing nothing and 5% sloppily ripping off 'Misery.' +2 for OK music and animated intertitles.

Durst can make a good film ("The Education of Charlie Banks") and this isn't made poorly by any means, but the writing in this is absolute dog shit and ruins everything else that this has going for it. Travolta is a weird choice to front this, and I have no idea why anyone would be friends with this main character yet everyone in this odd scene seems to know him, even a girl young enough to be his daughter. The ending is completely baffling. I don't even know how to score this

John Travolta'nin yine abuk sabuk filmleri.

I am very disappointed. I was expecting movie that would make me laugh from how bad it is. But for the most part the movie is just very boring, cringe inducing and hard to sit through. Only redeeming qualities are couple funny scenes and hearing Limp Bizkit

The script is a mess and John Travolta goes full retard--you NEVER go full retard--but it contains some disturbing moments that make it mildly watchable.

So you're telling me that everyone on set was like "yeah John, great take! Just keep that up for the next scene!" So many people had to say "yes" for this to happen and that is crazier than any weird mullet ever could be.
