The Final Countdown

This is basically an American propaganda film about aircraft carriers and naval aviation. If you wonder why it is moving slowly and every scene repeats its lines twice, it is because this is a thin sandwich with a cool sci-fi premise that goes nowhere and then lots of pointless drama until it sort of restores things to where they were. Martin Sheen needed the money after nearly going insane making "Apocalypse Now," looks like.

This film poses a lot of questions about time travel and changing the past, then answeres them with it's ending.
