The Fire Raisers (1934) comes from the time Michael Powell was making B-movies all rushed and limited means. Regardless of having a seasoned actor like Leslie Banks this starts off rather choppy and loud. A fire hazard that turns one off fairly quickly. On the other hand it does get better and toward the end there are signs of what Powell was good for.
