A bit silly, and a bit cheesy, but not without its charms. A decent premise is undone a bit by some sloppy execution, but the film fairly motors along, the action is handled well, and the cast is good enough. It maybe just needed more tension, more violence, more Satan, and less denim.

Cheesy horror flick about a Satanic killer who continues to claim victims from beyond the grave. All the supernatural stuff is really dumb and Lou Diamond Phillips just looks confused most of the time as the cop trying to catch a dead guy. The sound effects are probably the best thing about it...the killer's whispery, disembodied voice is actually kinda creepy.

Although I knew it was crap when I was in the theater, I always thought, "Y'know, with a better cast and better dialog, this could be a classic."

Scrawny diamond philipps in his oversize trenchcoat and crocodile leather cowboyboots trying to act tough is hilarious to behold. The ceiling fan scene had the style and creativity i'd wish for to make this awesome...but nah, everything beside the aforementioned is mediocre 90s straight to tv material.

Far from perfect, but with some neat ideas. Could have been very special. Shamelessly ripped off by Fallen.

An overly familiar storyline (with bits of _Shocker_, _The Exorcist_, _The Omen_, and various "Dirty Harry" movies) is given a slight lift thanks to good work from Lou and Jeff and some frantic directorial touches, but this ends up being too predictable for its own good.

Not even the infinite charisma of Diamond Phillips can save this mess. Many plot holes and boring.
