Em honra do centenário de Alida Valli. Por algum motivo a minha tendência é gostar menos dos filmes mais famosos do Zurlini e amar muito os mais obscuros, talvez porque eles não sobrevivam à minha expectativa. Fui assistir esse e me deparei com um belo conto sobre machos chatos do caralho, mas o qual esperava uma obra-prima. Worth watching just for Delon playing cards against Giannini. The supporting cast is also incredible, yet marginal - I wished there was more of Salvatori, Randone, Massari and Valli. I have no complaints about the rest of it. I wonder if James Toback plagiarized Daniele Dominici for "The Gambler" - which also has the character of a literature professor who is a compulsive gambler and messes around with a student.
