The First Time

Watched for 2 reasons: Bisset & to see what such an early version of Porky's might look like (teens go to a Canadian brothel in hopes of getting laid). Bisset is even more stunning than expected & the Porky's-Brady Bunch hybrid IS different (lots of nervous leering but no nudity), but the rest is so badly staged & takes so long to get to Bisset I had to FF ALOT. The last 20 minutes however, are unexpected & surprisingly sweet. It's a reminder of how crude everyone became in just a decade.

The world's least interesting Niagara Falls tour puts three young men into an interesting premise where they must attempt to help Jacqueline Bisset cross the border into the US and they do so very easily because this movie is not really interested in drama. The boys each take a turn fumbling around the obviousness of their intentions and then Jacqueline wants maple syrup and must return. Not something I would recommend to anyone including Wes Stern completists.
