Alternating black and white flickers create a stroboscopic effect, which, in time, creates hypnogogic visions in the viewer. An excellent piece of avant-garde film, but best seen as projected from an original print.

this film poses the omnipresent and eternal question to its audiences: do you have epilepsy? do you? huh? i bet you fucking do! AND IF YOU DO I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU. fucking hell. the most spine-tingling nerve-wracking monster i've ever experienced. i can't imagine how horrifying it would be to be chained to a cinema seat whilst this thing was taunting me.
