Moderately entertaining action movie. Tommy Lee Jones and Harrison Ford are both quite good but in the end there's nothing all that memorable about the movie to make it stand out as great.

A tense, engrossing, sprawling thriller and one of my all-time favorite cinematic mysteries. It may be a film adaptation, but the emotional journey we take with Dr. Kimble and all his "Holy shit!" close escapes make it feel like we've just seen a whole damn TV series of thrills when all is said and done. Tommy Lee Jones is absolutely, utterly awesome. I genuinely do think of it as a masterpiece.

Well-done suspense film without a lot of violence. There's not too many movies that match that description. The final revelation at the end ultimately makes the entire movie not make very much sense, but this is an entertaining yarn about two basically good men pitted against one another by fate

So awesome in so many ways. Tommy Lee Jones was classic and several of his lines are memorable, and Harrison Ford was great as well. Just an amazing suspense/thriller with great writing, direction, acting, music, cinematography and everything else that goes with making a great film.

(after repeated viewing) Not without its flaws but some noteworthy performances (Tommy Lee Jones in a badass turn and Ford is favorable leading man) and fluid editing/action turn it into quite a ride.

This is very good remake of the classic television series. But as good as Ford's performance is, it is overshadowed by Tommy Lee Jones. Jones steals the movie with his tough as nail US Marshall. He ma have been popular before this movie, but the Fugitive made him a star. Very good special effects as well. Overall a great thriller.

The whodunnit reveal in the last 20 minutes gets over-complicated & the film forces the kind of action-packed and cathartic audiences demand even though it requires coincidences & the villain making some dumb & odd choices but the rest of this is a thriller masterpiece with some fantastic setpieces & rarest of all for a thriller: a protagonist & antagonist who are equally matched: both are clever, smart and relentless.

I've loved this movie since I was a kid and I've only grown to love it more and more everytime I revisit it. The editing, the suspense, the acting, the respect of the audience's intelligence, the almost overwhelming amount of "that guy"s, the look and the shift in tone from action to investigation. It really just came together perfectly. One of the best hollywood thrillers of the 90's. Also the compositing technique for train crash literally still beats 95 percent of modern effects for realism.

The Fugitive is a great thriller with a fantastic cast, especially Jones who delivers the performance of his career. Ford is also terrific. I also thought the direction really stood out. It was very smart, and sophisticated, with a great plot. One thing that really stands out with the Fugitive for me, is that every Ford movie since this one, hasn't been all that great.

A lot of things happen in this film, and it's a great thriller. However, why is everyone ignoring the rollerblading nurse? I had to rewind the first time, because we didn't see his feet, but it appeared as though he were rollerblading. Then, a few minutes later, he's back and there's a clear shot of the rollerblades. It took me out of the film. Also, if I were going to get someone to commit a crime on my behalf, I would get someone less recognizable than a one-armed man.

A thrill-ride from start to finish, great pace. Harrison Ford is astonishing and his stellar performance here helps greatly in making the viewer root for and sympathise with his character. The supporting cast is not so bad either - well cast and well directed. Julianne Moore, however brief her appearance, is always a treat. Tommy Lee Jones, cold-hearted and soulless, brilliant. A great, now classic thriller.

An excellent thriller, and a good example of how TV adaptations/remakes do not necessarily have to be terrible, if they're done with care. (Note: If, at any point, you are considering casting Jessica Simpson, you are not making a good TV adaptation.) Tommy Lee Jones steals this.

RARBG.

It's a good "clever detective" style movie with high pace. I've rated it only 1 point below The Departed, both films are in the same category but the "Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe fuck yourself." attitude as preformed by Mark Wahlberg in TD earns it that 1 point more in comparison to this film. Anyway in short I quite recommend this film here.
