I like this a lot more than I was expecting to; it sounds trite, but one thing it's got going for it is that it has a heart. It actually manages to create sympathy and care for its characters, which is more I can say for any other recent teen comedy. And it's pretty funny, too.

One of the better teen comedies, and it can be down right hilarious. The 3 buddies (Hirsch, Dano and Marquette) have some of the best chemistry I've seen in the genre, and the strong start they give us is only bolstered by the introduction of Olyphant's character. The only thing that brings this movie down is some of the corny and cliched teen romance parts that are eye-rollingly bad. That being said, I don't know how they could have left them out without changing the majority of the movie.

A really fun "Risky Business"-fueled teen comedy. I believed the characters as outsiders, laughed at all the ribaldry, and was totally digging the entire twisty plot at the end. Timothy Olyphant played the villain to a T, and it's perhaps the one time Elisha Cuthbert has ever been well-cast.

It's a love story, basically, between a shy teenager and a porn star - but there's nothing terribly salacious or sleazy about the way everything plays out. The script - follows the usual romantic comedy formula, right down to the expected chain of events (ie boy gets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl back, etc). And despite the occasional dark twist - most of which revolve around Timothy Olyphant's character - this remains an innocuous romp for teenagers.

It wasn't all what I expected. Instead of your average story of high-school romance, it's extremely interesting to watch Emile Hirsch's character become involved in some really heavy situations just for the love of one girl. It definitely goes to some unexpected places.

Ya, you know I actually liked this one. Granted it's aimed for like... 15 year olds... but, Elisha Cuthbert? And porn stars? And strippers' boobs? Come on, you can't go wrong with a combination like that. If you want to know what the movie itself is like (besides the abnormally high skank-factor for a teen movie), it's one of those typical teen comedies. Think Van Wilder, but replace college with high school.

This was actually a pretty cute movie that was a lot more tasteful than most teen sex comedies. I'm not sure if you c9ould call this one of those, but this was still a great watch. The acting was really good with Timothy Olyphant, Elisha Cuthbert, Emile Hirsch and the rest. Kind of unpredictable as well as the couple get together in the beginning and then go through what they have to in the movie. Unexpected ending as well as that was very different. Well worth the watch.

Easily one of the best teen movies I have ever seen. The love story is very touching and the comedy is pretty head-on albeit a little over the top. The problems these kids run into are hilarious and the solutions are ingenious. It's hard to rate the acting since all of these people were pretty much playing themselves but a lot of good has come from Emile and this is definitely part of it.
