The plot gets overcomplicated at times, and I was a bit disoriented when the Italian dubbing of Englishmen, which initially isn't, then kicked in at some point, but The Girl with a Pistol is ultimately a charming and satisfying comedy. Vitti never looked this gorgeous before or since, and her bloodthirsty but vulnerable character Assunta is endearing and lovable.
