The Goalie's Anxiety at the Penalty Kick

There's already lots of Wenders' trademarks here. But this is not so interesting as Alice In The Cities or Wrong Move.

Beautifully filmed - though it makes 1970s Austria look pretty grim - it very effectively builds a tension (partly through use of a repeated refrain in the score) which is never released or reaches a climax.

Peculiar. I must have missed some intermediate scene where the ejected GK transforms into a psychotic stalker. Then it becomes one of the slowest get-away movies ever, and if you're going to spend that much time with a character, I'd prefer him or her to have some redeeming characteristic. Count on Wenders' on-the-move film having a great (even if reconstructed) soundtrack though.
