Stephen Lee doesn't want his nephew Wally Sanders to marry chorus girl Violet Dayne, because he believes all chorus girls to be ruthless gold diggers, always chasing after the men's money. Violet's friend Jerry La Mar decides to 'gold dig' Stephen, to show him what a nice and unselfish girl Violet is, but then she realizes that she's really in love with Stephen Lee.

Mildly cute rom-com which I felt old Alec B. Francis stole from the gold diggers. Hope Hampton certainly had an expression on the silent screen, but I'd prefer any of the leading ladies of the sound films to her. Actually this film didn't feel all that special, especially when you compere it to the more essential ones, like ...1933. More a safe vamp flick, back when vampires usually referred to destructive women and not mythical creatures. But it's amazing that it's been found!
