Top badass moment? Like a pig contentedly wallowing in a mixture of mud and its own excrement, this movie knowingly enjoys that fact that it’s terrible. It has to be said that the kills are still pretty effective though. Top #MeToo moment? A private eye gets a woman really drunk so she’ll enter an amateur strip contest, so he can use her as bait to catch a killer. 1 cat (lovely and black), no chainsaws or decapitations; (although the latter is probably debatable on a technical level).

Why am I prepared to say that I enjoyed this? Some terrible movies are turgid nightmares, while others become a kind of otherwordly experience where you seem to be watching entertainment made for people who have never really experienced anything like a movie before. It's not like Lewis is making a personal statement ... his work is pretty much meant to make a few bucks and that's it ... but with very few exceptions, he doesn't seem capable of making a dull flick.

Yes, it's trashy and cheap and stupid, but in a sort-of-amusing way. The acting, the editing, the ways it breaks the 4th wall, the ridiculous violence, the unskilled stripper-dancing, and the fact that the protagonist is a cane-wielding douchebag with a god complex and the looks of an upper class pedophile kinda made me not able to really hate it.
