Big stars. Big budget. Big disappointment! A very drowsy period drama from the days when Andrew Jackson was the (7th) President of the US of A. They managed to kill almost all of what was lovable about the great actors involved with the stiff set-up. Stripped of all charm. A lot of dialogue saying nothing of interest. Joan Crawford who was the main star was at least allowed to show some personality, but to be honest she doesn't fit-in in early 19th century.
