The Great Ecstasy of Robert Carmichael
In a small English coastal town, three teenage boys are drawn into a world of temptation and violence. Bored, troubled and excluded, the boys are unable to accept or even recognise moral boundaries. Their actions move inexorably towards a truly shocking act, that will horrify their sleepy community and expose its deepest, hidden fears.

A fantastic film only let down by some weak acting.

the the technical aspects of this film are good, but it fails. the lead actor is bad, the supporting cast is even worse and the dialogue is awkward and flat. Character development is done poorly and there are some significant plot holes. The build up towards the movie's "shocking" a la Clockwork Orange finale was non existant and that's why it is the most misogynistic thing ever put on film.
