Entertaining enough Hope vehicle provides a rather unexpectedly sinister and brutal set-up for a simplistic mistaken-identities plot, which gives Hope and Fleming great opportunities to play off their winning chemistry with each other. Insertion of musical numbers seem strange and not really in keeping with the tone of the rest of the film.

I love cameos. A Jack Benny appearance and the fact that Bob Hope is always funny to me save this movie from being terrible. The stand-out supporting character in this one was that obnoxious little snot-nosed boy scout.

One of the lesser Bob Hope comedies of this period. The big laughs wasn't present, but it's still a good time with Hope guiding his boy scouts on a cruise where a murderer is on the loose.
