Gotta love the cab driver. One of the greatest "rounding the troops" speeches made in this movie by Fozzie Bear as they prepare to catch the hated villian (spoiler alert) Charles Grodin.

The middle is a little bit of a slog but the rest is so fun - The fourth wall breaking moments are a hoot. Peter Falk and Kermit thr Frog having a scene is making me hungry for a John Cassavetes Muppet movie.

Yeah, probably one of my favorites of the Muppet movies. I really dig the Muppets. But this movie in particularly is great for so many reasons. The scale of it is great and I still find it entertaining.

It's not the best Muppet film, but it is still Jim Henson doing what he did best. I say again, Mr. Henson, you left us far too soon.

A little uneven, but if you love The Muppets, it's enjoyable and zany and fun.

As far as Muppet movies go, this isn't bad. I don't care for some of the songs and there's too much Miss Piggy (god I hate her), but the highlights make it well worth watching.

Rather poor to be honest. It doesn't seem faithful to the whole style of the Muppet Show that came before.

Every frame of this movie is etched upon my soul, or at least my sense of humor. It's a well-constructed narrative, a work of metafiction that exposes the mechanics and tricks of film as art form and as industry and yet is still, in and of itself, hilarious and compelling and intriguing and fun.

I bet Kermit likes to be sat on. This might be the worst Muppet movie.

it's got some of my favorite muppet songs and that's a real plus because the plot it's self is a bit on the bland side. it's kind of sad because it had some decent writing and awesome songs, just didn't make the grade on the entertainment side.

Witty and light-hearted, with some memorable songs.

if I'd grown up with it, I'd love every second. But I was going from brilliant John Cleese and Peter Falk cameos to cheap jokes and music that's nowhere near the level of its predecessor. All this topsy-turviness nearly made me miss the emotional zing of Miss Piggy saving the day by driving a motorcycle though a window.that glorious moment provided clarity I needed. been thinking the movie, in whole, was "blah" but it was merely let down by not being the super duper magic thing the first one was.

I saw this a few times as a kid so it's forever ingrained in my mind/psyche. Watching it now, it's a pretty entertaining and funny film with plenty of fourth-wall breaking, some good songs, great puppetry as usual, and the actual crime caper seems to (purposely) take a back-seat for the more important stuff (like more jokes).

This is another fun entry in the Muppet series. There are some funny moments and some amusing cameos. The script is nothing special but there are some enjoyable moments.

I kind of hate how they always have to find some crazy elaborate story for the Muppets to have an adventure together. They're interesting, funny characters on their own right, just put them together and have the chemistry come across naturally, don't force it. That's what Jason Segal's Muppet Movie did, and it will forever be better than any Muppet film that shoehorns a poorly-written story like this one.

Not the best Muppet movie due to some scenes that really drag. None of the music really stood out, but there were some funny parts.

You know what? There's no jokes for kids in this, which is why I didn't remember any of it besides Peter Falk's cameo and everyone yelling that they needed to piss and breaking down the bathroom door to all piss together as a family. However, as an adult, it's very good.

I like the Muppets a lot- Family Christmas is one of my favorite movies ever & something that I cherish deeply because of growing up with it. But I did not like this. It was clumsy, cluttered, full of inconsistencies, the meta humor was terrible, & even some of the voices sounded a little off to me. Miss Piggy gets to do a lot of cool stuff, so there is that, but most of the runtime just felt like out of place musical numbers & a poorly put together storyline based around mostly bad jokes.

I have even more nostalgia for this one compared to the first movie, I thought it was a bit funnier as well. Another really fun Muppet movie to add to the catalog. Just another great, feel good light hearted comedy in the immersive world of Jim Henson.
