Early Daffy gets on my nerves, but I like this short better than most of his from the time. As a huge Dick Tracy fan, I found this spoof both affectionate and on point, even if it does recycle a few gags.

Daffy's pretty cool and his manic energy makes this pretty funny.

Both nightmare-inducing and hilarious. A classic from my childhood.

A really wild one, even for Clampett, and an obvious classic. Thoroughly surreal, the animation is especially loose and frantic, and Daffy yells and screams even more than usual.

Daffy Duck turns out to be a huge Dick Tracy fan, and after accidentally knocking himself out, he dreams he is Duck Twacy trying to solve a string of piggy bank thefts (including his own). The centerpiece of this cartoon is Daffy beset by a series of mock Dick Tracy villains like Pickle Puss, Eighty-Eight Teeth and Neon Noodle. It's rarely seen minor surreal masterpiece that was never really in the Looney Tunes TV rotation.
