The Groom Wore Spurs

A flat comedy with no laughs and an incredibly silly ending.

This felt beneath Ginger Rogers. I like Jack Carson and all, but together they didn't get this simply shot movie off the ground. You got to go back to the early 1930s, for when she was first starting-out, to find a worse Ginger film. On top of that, their co-star Stanley Ridges died just a month after its release, making this his last feature. Depressing, all over.
