The Hand That Rocks the Cradle

This movie perfectly portrays every father's nightmare: getting a super hot nanny and having her be more interested in the kid.

My only impression of this movie comes from my first and only viewing of it at 10 years old. My only thought at the time was how unrealistically evil the nanny was, and how I didn't really believe that people like that exist. I may revisit this movie in the future but I haven't found any compelling reasons to do so.

Poor.

This is a good life lesson to those that would rather build their own greenhouse than raise their own child.

It's understandable and sometimes even necessary to lump in SINGLE WHITE FEMALE with the likes of this and POISON IVY, but it's a disservice to a thoughtful and altogether superior thriller. It would be hard to do a disservice to this stupid and inferior thriller, though.
