Zombie’s salute to Bakshi (filtered through an endearing fondness for Golden Age Hollywood) is a rough and crude creation which gets by on its thunderous sense of bad taste (though the humour is more in the spotty adolescent vein than anything truly witty or subversive). The constant references to the “Zombie-verse” makes this feel like a bit of a self-indulgent plug at times; nonsensical (nonexistent?) plotting and characterisations make it a mild chore at times, even at an hour and change.

Some cute soundtrack choices, but all in all... this is revolting. Rob Zombie knows it, and I don't know if that makes it better or worse. There is no redeeming value to this. Plot and characters are paper thin. Truly, this is a Rob Zombie album adapted to animation, and the only people who should watch it are the people who like the sound of that.

I'm a huge fan of both crude humour and Rob Zombie, but this was too much for me - just smutty garbage. It tries too hard to be raunchy, which often left me cringing and the humour is comprised of nothing more than dick jokes, nude cartoons and unnecessary constant pop culture references. Didn't finish.

Rude, crude and nude! All things I love in film. Like Fritz the Cat and Heavy Metal before it, Rob Zombie's over the top sex toon is a breath of fresh air. With a million pop culture references, irreverent humour and an art style reminiscent of Ren & Stimpy, how can one not enjoy this ride? Extreme misogyny aside, this was a lot of fun. The songs are easily the best part, while Rosario Dawson's annoying ass character is easily the worst.

What? People don't like this? Not even the music? This shit is awesome.

Apart from a nostalgic animation style and a decent cast, this is completely mediocre and forgettable. The humor entirely consists of 70 minutes of sex jokes and references to Zombie's other works. Meh.

All of the "jokes" consist of totally-unprompted pop culture references (even more unprompted than Family Guy's, somehow) and references to body parts and/or bodily functions. Many scenes continue long after expending their usefulness to the movie, and even more scenes are pointless from beginning to end. It wouldn't matter if those scenes were actually funny, but all I could do was focus on how little they had to do with anything, and were nothing more than a feeble attempt at humor.
