The Hobbit

This is a fascinating piece of animation history, one that I didn't know existed until seconds before I watched it. It's a super charming, simple adaptation of Tolkien's classic from a time before it was even considered a classic. It's on Youtube and it's definitely worth hunting down.

It's like someone reading a picture book for me. A cheap adaptation at warp speed. Fav scene: I enjoy seeing Bilbo in a yellow jacket chilling at home.

WTF why even bother to call this a Hobbit film? With all of these changes they could've done better just creating their own story. If you think of it as a story completely unrelated story it's not so bad.

I mean, if I were rating an 8 year olds school project, I would say they did an amazing job. But if this is not an 8 year old, then this is one of the most amateur pieces of non sense I've wasted time on.
