Saoirse Ronan prominently featured is the highlight of this movie. The alien voice from inside her was not a great plot device. The special effects were unimpressive. The biggest problem was the events did not match the high drama attached to them. Barely worth watching and entirely forgettable.

That bad adaptation kind of stilted and choppy with an espescially goofy, 'muh monogamy' romantic conflict. Dialogue made even worse by the bizare constriant of not being able to talk for the other girl -may have worked in the book though.
