The Hungover Games

If you enjoy spoof movies and want to see a lowbrow sense of humor mixed in with a clever premise for a film, you can do a lot worse than The Hungover Games. I don't recommend most people see it, but given the complete lack of quality in recent spoof films, this one is actually somehow better than a lot of the pack. It's dumb and it's only occasionally funny, but for what it is that makes it almost worth seeing. At least it's not another Hangover movie. I don't think I could handle one of those.

Not as bad as it should've been. Not great either, but it had its moments. And boobs.

A hungover experience without the headache and dry mouth. This parody film of the Hangover and Hunger Games did one really good thing... they took two big movie series and combined them in a pretty funny way. The biggest problem is the joke writing. They aim toward the lowest common denominator and makes most of the movie unfunny. I did love a lot of the actors. Herbert Russell did an impressive Zack G. impression. Rita Volk was amazing as Katnip. I just wanted more laughs, and there weren't.

Occasionally manages to make a satirical point but mostly just unfunny

A few laughs here and there, but mostly just sexjokes. I'm not sad that I watched it, but I'm not happy about it either

Okay as background noise

Bad CGI but a film apparently made with a decent budget. Although, it's not funny. There was a lot of nudity and sex jokes but it wasn't as gratuitous as other "comedy" films. In a way, it sort of added to the "jokes" rather than act as a distraction for the lack of them and made it kinda... grown up? (some of the time) Perhaps it's because it was an Unrated version that they were able to show the entirety of each scene leaving the punch lines in.

Surprisingly not as bad as you would expect, and it cleverly merged the two blockbuster films together very well.

At least it had a variety of characters that made it colourful to watch.
