It has some strong moments but other times the movie felt dull and it could drag on at times. The ending was really predictable and the character arcs were ultimately unsatisfying, but there were some moments of intrigue such as the "birthday cake" scene. Overall the movie is really forgettable and bland and I find it hard to say much about it.

The Infiltrator is one of those "based on a true story" suspense thrillers that never quite convinces you that what you're seeing and hearing is fact. It's Cranston who makes you suspend disbelief. He doesn't make a false move.

The Infiltrator isn't anything wildly amazing, but it's story is interesting enough to be an engaging film

What about us, the would-be viewers of Bob Mazur's morally murky story? Do we need to wade through the brutal, cocaine-laced underworld that Bob Mazur inhabits in order to fully understand that such a gritty, merciless, immoral world exists? One that, thankfully, most of us are never exposed to? I'll leave you to ponder those questions yourself. (pluggedin.com)

Cool little movie with nice actors and somewhat nice plat. Not a disappointment but the plot itself lacks a bit of finesse. Extra points for starring Bryan Cranston.

This was an interesting story told in a very mediocre way with some really good acting. It won't hold the test of time but it is a decent film.

It kind of takes a while to get going but by the end of it I actually felt for the characters and the relationships that Cranston's character cultivated throughout. The plot is written well enough. Doesn't do anything especially fantastic, nor does it do anything poorly. Cranston is one in a fairly small group of actors who can do nice one second and then absolutely terrifying the next, though I wouldn't say this role is award worthy or anything.

If you've ever seen a film about someone going undercover then this will seem horribly overdone, if you've somehow never seen such a film then this may be a little underwhelming

Cranston's powerful and engaging performance propels otherwise oddly flat and derivative tale of drugs and crime circa the 80s; one wishes for a more genuinely flamboyant director to bring the extra spark to this material (such as the late Tony Scott); Furman has the moves, but none of the passion. Ultimately feels like a reverse-SCARFACE wannabe - an interesting story, but needs a better treatment.

Bryan Cranston keeps taking quality roles. While The Infiltrator (2016) shakes itself into a fairly routine drug thriller, it's a intoxicating infiltration into the financial world of money laundering.

It's good but I can't help but think I've seen this done more than a couple of times before. Cranston and Leguizamo are good. Supporting cast also good.

For the record: this was not Breaking Bad the Movie. Everything was pointing on it but there was nothing as glorious as the series. Well, except Brian; he did excellent his part.

Very decent. I feels familiar, but excites and entertain nonetheless. Cranston and Leguizamo are solid as expected. Kruger and Pratt makes for a good supporting cast. *Good

I wish the movie delved more into the origin story. How did he get into this position? For this type of movie I prefer one from 1997 called Donnie Brasco.

Bryan Cranston's commanding presence anchors this stylish but well written thriller. A sorely underrated and deeply engrossing film.

A fairly average biopic that covers interesting subject matter in a somewhat disjointed and paint-by-numbers way. Great cast, though.

It was find for what it was. I was looking for this type of film, and it did what I thought it would.

A straightforward story and style. There is a good cast, strong tension, but a familiar storyline that hits standard beats.

This scratches that itch if you're a casual undercover cop drama viewer. Cranson is awesome, as per usual, but the film is hindered by trying to stay too true to life (being based on a real story). I would have liked to see a more fictional and younger Mazur who falls in love during being undercover (something that is conservatively teased at in the trailers but not delivered). Or at least give a more personable emphasis on his relationships with the people he "betrayed".

Fake and cheezy.
