One of the most peculiar interrogation-room dramas I've seen, Miller's "Garde à vue" leaves certain questions unanswered, but it is nevertheless one of the best I've seen in that subgenre. Marchand and Ventura give stupendous performances as the suspect and inspector, as does Romy Schneider in the smaller role of the suspect's wife. Miller's directing is carefully detailed, and the writing is generally top-notch.

Not bad, but I'm not sure what to get of the story. Probably that everything's complex and that people sometimes act in the most ludicrous way.
