The Intruder

This “lost” proto-slasher is mostly interesting as a curiosity. It’s clumsily done; like some bits are missing while others go on and on. There's some unintended hilarity due to awkward karate fights and the characters' tendencies to find a way to be alone even if that’s a sure way to get killed. Rooney’s role is minimal and consists of him steering a boat. I still wouldn’t totally dismiss this; island (at least in the movie) setting is nice and reminded me of films like Shock Waves
