The Invaders

Francis Ford's uncondescending respect for the Indian nations lays seeds that would germinate in his brother's Cheyenne Autumn, over 50 years later. In fact, this feels a lot like one his brother's westerns - all the business about "marrying the colonel's daughter" feels like a lost subplot of the Cavalry Trilogy.

A little hard to follow but the spirit of the production is hard to ignore.
