Nice and wholesome light family comedy starring James Stewart and Barbara Hale.

Escalates the chaos of winning the lottery fast and focuses only on the negative side of good luck. Since it's more frustrating than funny it takes some away from a otherwise quality James Stewart performance, but it certainly has its moments.

The most entertaining thing about this movie was the huge eclectic sum of prizes worth $24,000 in 1950. Jimmy Stewart was good, and there were funny parts, but it's just not that fun watching a man's life and marriage go down the tubes for the sake of comedy. And he begged his wife to leave his favorite chair, at least, alone. But no.
