Not exactly a masterpiece, using The Johnstown Flood (1926) of 1889 as its climax to a rather uninteresting small town scenario. The special effects is the thing that stands-out as something great. Also its remarkable selection of extras-before-they-were-stars, as Clark Gable, Gary Cooper & Carole Lombard all appeared in this movie. But it's a don't blink or you'll miss it. Even if you don't blink, you'll probable miss it. Instead it's a decent film for the actual stars of this drama.
