The Jungle Book 2

Completely pointless. A lazy rehash of the original movie that's best forgotten.

Shortest version of the plot summarized: Mowgli goes back to the jungle, hijinks ensue, Shere Khan shows up to try to kill him again, and he goes back to the man village. 65 minute runtime is 65 minutes too long. Law of the jungle temporarily suspended for some dance numbers.

A flat, lifeless insult to an animated classic.

I saw The Jungle Book 2 in theaters and I remember NOTHING about it. I just suddenly had a flashback one second ago and came to rate it. I don't even like the original Jungle Book.

Basically just a remake of the first one (hanging with Balloo, sing Bare Necessities, fiery battle with Shere Khan, Mowgli goes to the village) while robbing the first film’s ending of its mystique by giving the girl a name, personality, bickering with Mowgli, fighting Shere Khan together, etc. That said… that said! As much fun as we made of these Disney sequels twenty years ago, are they THAT much less creative than the Disney live action remakes of the last half decade?

Disney's fast food for the kids. Avoid when you are adult.

A betrayal.

A bland straight to video film that is filled with bad original songs and poorly done revisits to the original ones. The voice acting is decent and they sounded similar to the original cast. But honestly there is no reason to bother with this one. The animation is okay for what it is.

The sort of film you'd only ever watch if you have kids. It's terrible in most every respect, from the lifeless animation, below-par voice acting and a story that continues poorly from the classic original. A parents chore.

Disney just threw the book at us. Jungle Book 2 is just a rehash of the first film that we all love. Mowgli is back and this time he's in the man-village. Of course, he gets in trouble for just a second and realizes that he'd rather be eaten by giant snakes and tigers than have to do chores...

A lot of fun. The music isn't as good, but the plot and character actors were great.

Mandatory sub-par Disney sequel. Nothing special or memerable other than making a mockery of the original classic.

Rather pointless but not-bad sequel is what you expect. Original is obviously superior, but this isn't as bad as you would expect.

The first movie was adequate. Why make a sequel? Dollars, of course. No one looked like they were trying.
